NSW Boat Licence Course

Pre-course Experience:
No experience required. Minimum age 12 years.

Duration: Approximately 5 hours. Finishing times may vary depending on weather conditions and other constraints which could arise on the day. Every attempt is made to keep to course timings.
Delivery: Groups 5 - 10 Trainer-led with practical on water session.

Recognised NSW RMS Boat LicenceTraining Provider.

Be able to read and write English and advise of any health condition, eyesight, hearing, learning or any physical disability which may compromise training.
$ 245.00 per person. Group booking discounts available.


This course option will suit anyone 12 years or older wishing to meet all the requirements for obtaining the NSW Boat Licence in one day. No further training or testing is required on successful completion of this course.The program includes, theory, multiple-choice test and on water practical. There is also an option to combine the PWC Licence with this one day course. Great Sydney boat licence practical locations offering the best training experience.   1. The College operates an easy-to-use online booking and enrolment system. Just fill in your details and those of anyone attending with you. You can also call 1300 723 112 to book via telephone.
  2. Group booking discounts apply when booking two or more people online at one time. Adding two or more to your booking is easy. Once you've added everyone, click  the  'Proceed to payment' button.
  3. Please read our general terms and conditions as well as the Roads and Maritime proof of identity requirements prior to attending one of our courses.
  4. A practical only course option is available to those who have already successfully passed the RMS multiple-choice knowledge test and need to complete the practical session in order to meet the requirements for obtaining the licence.
